About Us

Our History

6th Medway Scout Group was founded in 1979, with our current hut opening in 1988. Since then the group has been providing young people with opportunities to learn skills and thrive beyond their academic settings. The group has continued to grow, and teach young people valuable life skills.

We provide a balanced and appropriate programme with both indoor and outdoor activities, suiting the age of each section, encouraging your young people to embrace challenges, gain confidence, resilience and respect themselves and others.
